The project was created to contribute to the promotion of Russian literature and culture in the post-Soviet space, to strengthen the role of the Russian language as means of international and interethnic communication through the International Contest of Literary Translation for Schoolchildren of the CIS countries "Russian Word".
The project of cultural and humanitarian orientation promoted the propagation of the Russian language and literature in Russia and the post-Soviet space, the development of the creative potential of schoolchildren, the acquaintance of the Russian reader with the work of young interpreters of the CIS countries. The scientific and pedagogical significance of the project is to generate positive methods, techniques, technologies and models of instruction aimed at developing the creative abilities of young people.
